Van
began his martial arts training in 1979. He was an enthusiastic ten
year old who studied in Wayne County, WV. Throughout the years, Mr.
Frasher has studied various martial arts including: Jujitsu, Aikido,
and Philippino systems.
Today he is a 5th degree Chun Kuk Do™ (CKD) black belt, Certified
Professional Martial Artist, and member a of the
United Fighting Arts Federation™.
Chun Kuk Do is the style founded by Mr. Chuck Norris. In 2008, Mr.
Frasher was chosen Instructor of the Year by the United Fighting
Arts Federation . Since 2005, Mr. Frasher has represented Team CKD on
the National Black Belt League (NBL). In 2006, Van won the NBL
Sparring World Champion. He is a seven-time CKD World Champion and
is the current and two-time Norris Cup winner.
In 1993, Mr. Frasher moved to the Columbus, Ohio area after earning
his M.S. in Criminal Justice. He currently lives in Gahanna, OH with
his wife, Kim, and their children, Kassie and Cole. Van works with
at-risk teens who have neglect, dependent, and delinquent concerns.
He is a Child Welfare Case Manager for Franklin County Children
Services.
